So, I enlisted the help of our longtime friends, Caroline & Dale to help me pop the question at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia. Just as the sun was about to set over the mountains, and with a whole ice skating rink adjacent to us, we walked down cascading stairs where we stopped just shy of the bottom.

THE PROPOSAL
I turned to her and said, babe, you know I love you more than anything, and I know this is long overdue (laughs). To quote one of your favorite musical artists, Michael Jackson: “To give someone a piece of your heart, is worth more than all the wealth in the world.” You’ve had my heart for a while now. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me? As I got down on one knee, an overwhelming cheer broke out around us, from the ice skating rink to the hotel balconies and the families walking by. My world was complete. She said yes!
